# Adding a LiveChat

We've made it simple to communicate live with your site visitors with the help of a chat widget powered by [LiveChat](https://www.livechatinc.com/?utm_source=weblium.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=weblium_integration). Install a chat to your landing and reach out to prospective clients and assist the existing ones. The feature is perfect for marketing, sales and support teams.

To add a LiveChat to your site, follow the instructions below.

### Step 1. Getting the chat ID 

1. Create or log in to an existing account at [LiveChat](https://www.livechatinc.com/?utm_source=weblium.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=weblium_integration).

2.  Navigate to the **Settings** tab, click on the **Channels ** list and open the **Website**:

3. In the **Website** tab navigate to the **Install code manually** section and copy the digits in the script after the `window.__lc.license` line:

### Step 2. Adding the chat to the site

1. Open the **Settings **of your site and navigate to the **Chat **tab:

2. Enter the unique chat ID in the **LiveChat** tab and click **Connect**:
