# Adding a spacer

You can add a spacer  to visually separate different elements within a block.

### Adding the element

To do so,  you need to click on the **Add an element** button and select it from the list of elements in the window that opens:

### Element setup

To open the spacer settings and set its color or height, you need to click on the settings icon in the form of  a **gear**:
