SEO settings for the blog

If you regularly update your blog, you give the search crawlers more reasons to index your site more often. Therefore, it can make a huge difference in how your overall website performs in the search engines.

The better you optimize your blog posts for SEO, the higher your pages will be on search engine result pages, so more people can find your website and get to know your business. Follow the instructions below to see how you can customize SEO settings for your blog posts.

To begin with, open the Settings of your site and navigate to the Blog tab:



Hover over the needed post and click on the "gear" to access its SEO settings:



In the pop-up window, you can see an auto-generated meta-title for the post. Click Set custom title to enter the preferred one:



Then, change the URL of your post:



You can also enable the "nofollow" tag for all link in this post, or hide the whole post from the search engines completely.

Lastly, customize the preview image, description and the keywords of the post:



Post preview image and description will be picked up by the search engines and the social networks — for instance, when you share the post on Facebook, WhatsApp, etc. The preview image will also become the cover image for the post itself.

The keywords are the main way to boost your SEO results — add meaningful phrases to describe your post to be easily found by the target audience.

Once you are ready with the post, click Publish at the bottom of the pop-up window:
