# Transferring a domain purchased from Weblium to another registrar

Even if you have purchased a domain at Weblium, you can later transfer it to any alternative domain registrar.

To transfer your domain, follow the steps below.

# Transferring a domain purchased at Weblium

1. Firstly, make sure that your domain was purchased from Weblium. For that, open the **Settings** of your site and navigate to the **Domains** tab:

2. If the domain you want to transfer is provided by Weblium, you'll see the following:

3. Send a request at support@weblium.com to receive **Auth/EPP Code** for the transfer. The request must mention the domain name and come from the email of the Weblium account where it was purchased.

4. Contact the domain registrar you want to move to and send them the transfer code you were provided with.

In order to put the site back online, you'll need to re-connect your domain according to the instructions in the [Connecting a domain you own](https://help.weblium.com/en-us/article/connecting-a-domain-pa4w3a/) article.
