# Transferring a domain to another Weblium account

If you need to change the ownership of your external domain (either from you to another person, or vice versa), or just to transfer it from your personal to reseller account, follow the instructions below.

||| ${color}[#f97700](Important:) Following this guide, you can transfer only an external domain to another account. If you purchased a domain from Weblium and want to transfer it to another account, you should send us two requests at support@weblium.com – from the account transferring a domain and from the account obtaining it. In the emails, please indicate the domain name and express your consent to the transfer/obtainment. # Transferring an external domain to another Weblium account

1. Firstly, you should delete an external domain from your account. For that, open the **Settings** of your site and navigate to the **Domains** tab:

2. Click on the three dots near the needed domain and choose the **Delete** option from the dropdown:

This way, the existing domain will be removed from your account completely.

3. Then, log in to another account where you'd like to transfer a domain, access the site's **Settings** and open the **Domains** tab:

4. Click **Connect an external domain** and enter your domain name:

5. In the opened window click **Done** and [publish your site](/en-us/article/publishing-a-site-tgxmch/). The domain should be connected after the verification provided that the records have been already set up.

||| ${color}[#f97700](Important:) Bear in mind that you can connect a domain only to Pro sites.
