How to group elements

  1. Select the necessary elements: drag the mouse over the area containing them or hold down Shift and click on each desired element.

  1. Click on the three dots in the menu that appears and select the Group option:

Note: You can also use the Command+G key combination (or Ctrl+G for Windows) to group elements.

Actions with a group of elements

A group of elements will behave similarly to individual elements with absolute positioning.

You can move it within the block, change its alignment, layer relative to other elements and groups, etc. For more information on basic actions with absolute elements within a Flex block, see our article.

Actions with elements within a group

To access the settings for a specific individual element in a group, double-click on it.

You will have access to the usual settings for the corresponding element, and you will also be able to change its size, position, and alignment within the group.

Important: Currently, it is not possible to change the layer on which an element is located in a group. The settings that the elements had before they were combined into a group will be preserved.

How to ungroup elements

To ungroup elements, click on the group you want and click on the three dots. In the menu, you will see the Ungroup option:

Note: You can also use the Shift+Command+G key combination (or Shift+Ctrl+G for Windows) to ungroup items.
