A custom domain name like domain.com will allow you not only to gain credibility and recognition among the customers but also to improve your site's traffic. In essence, sites under personal domains appear higher in the search results than others.

You can purchase a domain for your site with a yearly or monthly subscription straight from Weblium.

Tip: most yearly Pro subscriptions include a free domain name for 1 year.

This article will guide you through the process of getting a free domain included in the yearly Pro subscription as well as purchasing one.

Purchasing a domain

For that, open the Settings of your site, navigate to the Domain tab and click on Buy a domain:

Important: this feature is available only for Pro sites.

Enter the needed domain name in the corresponding field and click on Search:

Note: you can get a domain with one of the following extensions only: .org, .net, .biz, .com.

If the domain is included in your subscription, its annual cost will be crossed out and it will be marked as Free. Click on Get to register it and connect to your site:

Thus, upon the expiration of the annual subscription, the main payment method in your account will be charged for the subscription renewal.

Note: some domains can be marked as Unavailable, because they are already owned by other users.

If the domain isn't included in the subscription, you will be offered to purchase it. For that select a domain and click Buy:

Check the initial and the renewal price in the pop-up window and click Buy:

In a new window, you will be asked to use the main payment method to pay for the domain. In case you want to add a new method or select another from the existing ones in your account, click on Edit. To complete the purchase, click Pay and Subscribe:

After the system has processed your payment, publish your site and let your records pass the propagation period.

Important: it may take up to 24-48 hours for the records to propagate worldwide. This is a standard process applicable for all domains. During this time, the connection may not be stable, or the site may not be available on all devices.
