Adding and setting up a video

Unique video content improves SEO conversion of your site and increases the visitors' trust in your company. It's better to place one short but informative video than lots of heavy text.

Follow the instructions below to set a video on your site.

Tip: If you'd like to add a video to a block's background, check out the Adding site's background article.

Adding a video as an element

In most of the blocks in our gallery, you can add a video component as a separate element.

For that, hover over the place in the block where you'd like to add a video and click on the "plus":

Choose the Video element in the pop-up window:

Click on the placeholder and paste the link to your video in the relevant field:

Important: Supported links are those from YouTube and Vimeo. If you have a video elsewhere, make sure to upload it to one of the supported platforms to generate a link.

Tip: YouTube Shorts videos are not supported, so you will need to replace the shorts/ part with the watch?v= part in the link to convert it to the standard format.

Converting image placeholder into a video element

If you have an image placeholder in the chosen block, you are able to convert it into a video element.

For that, click on the image placeholder and press on the "gear" icon:

In the Media settings switch from the Image tab to the Video and add the link in the relevant field:

Tip: You can customize your video's on YouTube's or Vimeo's end.

Setting up a video

Once you add a link to the video, you will be able to change the following settings:

Note: If you turn the Autoplay option on, the video sound will be muted automatically to provide the best user experience on your site and for the site to comply with the requirements of browsers such as Chrome, Safari, etc.

You can also stretch the video placeholder by dragging the handle at the bottom of it:

Publish your site for the changes to take effect.

Tip: A video is an element of a block, so you can move, duplicate, or delete it according to the instructions in the Managing elements article.
