Attaching related products

Offer your customers to browse through related products when they are shopping in your store. This is a great way to upsell and offer additional items that you think go best with the product on display.

On Weblium, you can attach related products to every single product you have.

Open Your store tab in the site settings:

Select a product for which you'd like to add related items. Click on it to enter the product editing mode:

Navigate to the Related products tab:

In this tab, you have two options — displaying random products from a selected category, or attaching certain products manually. Let's start with random products. If this option works for you, toggle the switch on, then enter the quantity of the products to display and select the category from where to pick the items:

Otherwise, you may choose the related products manually. Click on the Attach products button:

Select all the similar products by ticking the boxes, then click on Add:

Note: Only published products will be displayed on the live site.

Save the changes:

Open the site's editor. Expand the Store section on the toolbar and click on the Product page:

All the newly created stores already contain a Related products block on the product page. It's called "You might also like". If you've created a store awhile ago (or accidentally deleted the section), you'll need to re-add it. For that click on the plus icon wherever you'd like to place an element:

Select the element Related products:

Now let's see how you can customize this element. Hover over it and click on the gear:

In the General tab, you can enter your own text for the title of the block. Besides, you can choose which product details you want to hide or show on the page:

In the Action tab, you can change the text, formatting, or design of the button. You can also add an icon to the text in the button:

Publish the changes so they appear live. This is how the related products will look on the published website:
