Connecting Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a free website analytics service offered by Google that gives you insights into how users find and use your website. You can track events on the site like site visits, bounce rate, average time on pages, etc. With this tool's help, you can monitor the effectiveness of your online marketing strategies as well as the user experience on the site.

To connect Google Analytics to your site, follow the instructions below.

Important: This option is available for Pro sites only.

Step 1. Requesting Measurement ID



Firstly, open Google Marketing Platform and click Start for free to create your new Google Analytics account:



Then, click on the "gear" in the left menu and navigate to the Admin panel:



In the new window, click Create Property:



On the first step of setup, enter the property name and add additional information:



On the second step, fill in the information about your company and click Create:



Choose Web as a data stream:



In the pop-up window, enter the URL of your site and the name for your stream:



Copy Measurement ID to your clipboard:

Step 2. Adding the code to your site



Now, open the Settings of your site and navigate to the Analytics tab:



Press on the Google Analytics field and paste your measurement ID, then click Connect:



Publish your site for the changes to appear live.
