Connecting Mailchimp to a contact form
Mailchimp is a marketing platform that allows you to promote your business by designing email newsletters, sharing them on social networks, integrating with services you already use, and tracking your results with the help of the tools united all in one place.
Mailchimp integration with contact forms permits automatic adding of your form submissions on Weblium to subscribers list in your Mailchimp account.
Important: This option is available for Pro sites only.
Enter the site Settings, navigate the Form management tab and open the Integrations:
Press on the Mailchimp field, then click Connect:
In the pop-up enter the credentials for your Mailchimp account. If you don't have one yet, you can sign up for free.
Now, go to the Integrations tab in the form settings to enable the integration. Press on Mailchimp, then select a list that you want the leads to be sent to:
Important: Make sure to add a field for email in the form settings and make it a required one. To learn more, check out the Customizing the layout of a contact form article.
Synchronize your form fields with corresponding fields in your Mailchimp audience list. This way the data from a particular field will get transferred to a certain column in Mailchimp's table. First, click on Sync fields with Mailchimp:
Then, add all of the form fields one-by-one and set relevant connections between form fields and Mailchimp fields:
Important: To make the integration work, you should add and synchronize all the fields in your contact form.
Publish your site for the changes to take an effect.
Done! To see how it works, try submitting the form with a test and go back to your Mailchimp account to check for updates in your subscribers list.
