Hotkeys in Flex block

When working with Flex block, you can manage elements faster and more efficiently with hotkeys. Specifically, you can:

On the image above, you can see the numbered buttons to control the elements in the Flex block:

  1. To copy an element, press Ctrl+C for Windows or ⌘+C for Mac.
  2. To paste an element, press Ctrl+V for Windows or ⌘+V for Mac.
  3. To duplicate an element, press Ctrl+D for Windows or ⌘+D for Mac.
  4. To delete an item, press the Delete (⌫) key.

To align an element:

  1. At the left edge (move an element to the left block boundary, press Alt+A for Windows or ⌥+A for Mac.
  2. Center horizontally(move an element to the center horizontally) - press Alt+H for Windows or ⌥+H for Mac.
  3. On the right edge (move an element to the right block boundary) - press Alt+D for Windows or ⌥+D for Mac.
  4. At the top edge (move an element to the top block boundary), press Alt+W for Windows or ⌥+W for Mac.
  5. Center vertically - press Alt+V for Windows or ⌥+V for Mac.
  6. At the bottom edge - press Alt+S for Windows or ⌥+S for Mac.

To position an element:

  1. In the foreground, press Ctrl+Alt+] for Windows or ⌘+⌥+] for Mac.
  2. On the layer above, press Ctrl+] on Windows or ⌘+] on Mac.
  3. On the layer below, press Ctrl+[ on Windows or ⌘+[ on Mac.
  4. In the background, press Ctrl+Alt+[ on Windows or ⌘+⌥+[ on Mac.


Additional hotkeys you can use:


To group elements:

Select the necessary elements: drag the mouse over the area containing them or hold down Shift and click on each desired element. Then press Ctrl+G on Windows or ⌘+G on Mac.


To ungroup elements:

Clink on the group and then press Shift+Ctrl+G on Windows or Shift+⌘+G on Mac.
