Editor and account issues

Clear cache and cookies in the browser you are using.

Cookies are files created by sites you visit that make your online experience easier by saving browsing data. Cache remembers parts of pages like images to help them open faster on your next visit.

When you use a browser, it saves some information from websites automatically. Ultimately, it makes browsing easier, but sometimes too much stored info can lead to various issues. Clearing cache and cookies fixes certain problems, like loading or formatting issues on sites.

For your convenience, we gathered some guides for most commonly used browsers:

Google Chrome
Firefox
Safari
Microsoft Edge

Open the browser in the incognito mode.

This point is related to the previous one. Browsers don't save cookies and site data in the incognito mode, so this is a way to check whether the issue gets resolved in the "clean" environment.

Update the browser to the newest version.

Weblium supports a certain list of browsers, and in most cases only their newest versions. To avoid some unpredictable issues while editing or viewing your site, make certain that you have updated your browser to the latest version. This will improve your browsing experience on other platforms, too.

Try opening the editor from different browsers.

A part of the troubleshooting process would be checking whether an issue occurs in a single or multiple browsers. If it's happening in a specific environment, then the issue should first be checked locally.

Turn off (temporarily) the extensions added to the browser — e.g. Adblock, VPN and so on.

Some of the extensions can slow down your web browsing or significantly change the functionality of your browser as well. We recommend you turn off all possible extensions during editing to smooth the process.

If none of the steps above helped, contact us via chat or at support@weblium.com.. Let us know which browser the issue originates in so we try and reproduce it.
