Uploading your own font

If none of the built-in font sets in the font gallery suit your needs, you can upload your own font.

Before you begin, please note the following:

  • Fonts are third-party code, so they can slow down your website’s loading speed significantly. We don’t discourage you from using custom fonts, but we recommend keeping track of them on your site.
  • We cannot predict how a third-party font will display on your site, since its code was not created by us and has not been tested on Weblium. For this reason, our support team cannot assist with issues related to adding or displaying custom fonts.

Important: The supported file format is .woff.If your font is in a different format, you’ll need to use a third-party converter to change the format before adding it to the site—for example, Convertio or FontSquirrel (on FontSquirrel, we recommend using the “Basic” option when converting fonts so that the font supports the same characters as before).

Adding a custom font to your website

  1. In the new window, click Upload your font and select the font file from your device:

  1. Once the file has been successfully uploaded, close the window:

  1. Done! The uploaded font will appear at the top of the general list:

  1. To delete an uploaded font, hover over it in the list and click the X icon:

Don’t forget to publish your site to apply the changes.
