Displaying the number of products and categories in the online store
You can display or hide the number of products and categories in the corresponding elements on the pages of your online store, namely on the homepage, category page, and search results. To display or hide the number of products/categories, you need to open the corresponding page in the editor, click on the element where you want to make changes, and activate or deactivate the corresponding switch.
Below, we will look at how to perform these actions on different pages of the store.
To add or hide the category counter on the homepage, you need to open the category settings and click on Quantity of categories:
Tip: if the checkbox is activated, the product counter will be displayed to the right of the corresponding header. If the radio button is deactivated, it will not be displayed.
In order to add or hide a count in the product block, you need to open the settings of the item with products and click the Quantity of products switch:
To display the number of subcategories on this page, you need to open the subcategory settings and click on Quantity of categories:
To display the number of products on the categories page, the procedure is the same as on the store's homepage:
On the search results page of your store, you can display or hide the product counter in the same way as in the previous sections. To do this, open the list of site pages, go to the Store tab and click on Search Results. Open the settings of the Search Results Products element by clicking on it and activate/deactivate the switch to Quantity of products:
