Changing site's font

The font on a website plays both an aesthetic and practical role — the right choice of color, font, and text size can determine how attractive the site will be to your audience.


On Weblium, you can choose a ready-made set that includes fonts for various text elements on the website. If necessary, you can also customize these sets by changing the font type for, say, headings or regular text on the website.

Choosing a font set


If you select one of the sets offered by the editor, the corresponding text types will use fonts from that set. For example, all website headings will look the same, and you won't need to edit them every time you add a new block.


  1. Click on the Site Styles icon in the editor control panel:


  1. Go to the Fonts section, browse our library in presets, and select the appropriate font set:

Tip: Click on the filter icon to select which writing systems' fonts will be included in the list — Latin, Cyrillic, or all.


Tip: If none of the suggested fonts suit you, upload your own font by following the instructions in the article Uploading your own font.


Selecting a font for a specific type of text


You can also select a font for a specific type of text, such as a subheading or a quote.


  1. In the Fonts section of the Site Styles menu, click on the currently selected font to open its settings:

  1. Hover over the type of text you want to set a different font for and click on the “gear” icon:

Note: You can also go to the settings for individual text types via the list of presets. To do this, simply click on the selected preset, and you will be taken to the same menu.


  1. Select which version of the site you want to edit the text type for: desktop, tablet, or mobile:

  1. In the settings for most text types, you will have access to the following parameters:


Font and its weight, as well as the ability to upload your own font:

In the font settings, you can set its size, line height, and letter spacing:

... additionally, you can specify a specific character case or italics for the text type.


In the SEO section, you can specify which tag this text type will have by default:

Note: The availability of certain editing options may depend on the type of text you are editing.


Don't forget to publish your site to see the latest changes.


Note: These settings will be applied to all texts with the selected font type.


Changing the font via text settings


  1. You can also go to the settings for a specific text type directly via the text element settings. To do this, click on the text, and in the context menu, you can either select a different text type for this element or go to the typography settings:
