Adding breadcrumbs in Your Store
Breadcrumbs is a type of secondary navigation that helps structure a large amount of content organized in a hierarchical manner. Breadcrumbs are presented as horizontally arranged text links separated by the “greater-than” symbol (>); the symbol indicates the level of that page relative to the page links beside it.
You can add breadcrumbs element to your product pages to set the navigation for category hierarchy. Here's how it will look on a published site:
Open the Store tab in the navigation menu and click on the Product page:
By default, the breadcrumbs element is added to the Product profile block. Hover over it to access its settings:
In the General tab you can choose whether to display the product name in the navigation or not:
You can add unlimited number of breadcrumbs elements to the Product page. For that, hover over the empty space on the page, click on the "plus" and choose Breadcrumbs in the pop-up menu:
Publish your site for the changes to appear live.
Tip: If you want to customize the product pages in your store, see the Changing the design of the product page article.
