Connecting Klarna to your online store

Klarna is one of the world's leading payment services that allows you to collect instant payments in your store.

Important: Payment methods are available on Pro and Trial websites.

Step 1. Registering with Klarna

Sign up or log in to the existing account on Klarna.
In your Klarna account, specify the currency ["AUD", "CAD", "CHF", "DKK", "EUR", "GBP", "JPY", "NOK", "NZD", "PLN", "SEK", "USD"]. Also, during the registration process you'll be asked to choose a region ["Europe", "Oceania", "North_America"]. Choose a country according to these regions:

North_America — ["CA", "US"]
Europe — ["SE", "CH", "DK", "DE", "GB", "NO", "NL", "PL", "FI"]
Oceania — ["AU", "JP", "NZ"]

Important: You should paste the links in the https:// format. If you don't have these pages yet, create them in the editor of your website: Adding pages.

Add a title that will be displayed on checkout:

Specify your country in the dropdown list:

Click Save to proceed with the integration:

Go back to the Payment methods tab and toggle on the Klarna integration.

Finally, publish your website.

Now your customers will see the Klarna as a payment option in the shopping cart.
