Changing the design of the category page

Weblium automatically creates a universal category page for all the categories you have in your store. By default, this page contains your site's header and footer, as well as the category name and the products you put in this category. Here's an example of such a page:



You can customize this page to your liking — e.g. add/remove blocks and elements, change their layout and choose which information to display.

1. Accessing the category page



Open the editor of the website where you'd like to customize the category page.
Under the My websites section, click on the site's home page, go to the Store tab below, and select Category page:


2. Customizing the existing blocks and elements on the page



Click on the gear icon of the element to be able to further customize it. For example, if you click on the subcategory settings, you'll be able to adjust its layout:



If you access the category products settings, you'll be able to change its layout and set the amount of maximum items in a row. In addition, you can choose what product information is displayed:



Navigate to the Action tab in that same window for more button customization including the button text:



3. Adding new blocks and elements to the Category page



Just like any other page in the editor, the Category page allows you to add, hide and remove elements/ blocks. You can find the relevant guides here:
