Connecting Mollie to your online store

Mollie is a popular European payment service that provides the ability to accept payments in a variety of ways, which will surely please your customers and make their shopping experience on your site fast and convenient. Mollie supports a large number of payment methods, including Apple Pay, Mastercard and Visa bank cards, PayPal, Klarna, iDEAL and many others.

Important: Payment methods are available on Pro and Trial websites.
In order to connect Mollie to your online store on Weblium, follow the next instructions:



Create or authorize into your Mollie account, create a Mollie API for your site according to the provided documentation and obtain the Live API key;

Open the settings of your site and move to the "Payment methods" section;

Locate Mollie on the list of available payment methods;

Click on the "Connect" button beside Mollie's logo and description;





Paste the Live API key you obtained in step 1 into the field “API key” (1);

In case you're going to use Mollie in test mode, activate the test mode via the switcher (6) and then copy the Test API key to the corresponding field "Test API key" (7);

Add a link to the page that will be shown to users in case of a successful payment (2) and another link that will redirect to a page in case the payment fails (3). If you haven't added those pages to your site yet, you can do this by following the instructions in this guide: Adding pages. You may also find this information useful: Creating a Thank You page.

Important: You should paste the links in the https:// format.

Add a title of the payment method (4) that will be displayed on checkout;

Specify the payment reference (5), which will be shown on the Mollie checkout page;

Click on the 'Save' button in the upper part of the screen, to apply the changes:

Move back to the 'Payment methods' section and turn on the Mollie switcher under the 'Connected payment methods' to display the payment method on checkout;

Now your customers will see Mollie on their checkout page and will be able to pay for products and services using their preferred payment method.
