Empty paid subscription slot

An empty paid subscription slot is a vacant subscription in your account that has not yet been assigned to any site.

In this article, you will learn under what conditions such a slot may appear in your account and which actions you can do with it.

When can an empty paid subscription slot appear in your account?

If you deleted a site with a paid subscription;
If you transferred a site with a paid subscription to another account;
If you purchased a bundle of subscriptions — one of them will be automatically applied to the site through which the bundle was purchased, while the rest will be in the form of slots in your account.

Important: if the subscription is in the empty slot state, its auto-renewal will be canceled automatically, except for subscription bundles.

How to apply a subscription slot to a website

In your account, an empty paid subscription slot will appear as follows:

With the Select a template option, you can create a website from scratch to which this subscription will be applied automatically. You can learn more about choosing a template for your site in our article.

Use the Apply to an existing site button to apply this subscription to a site in your account that is in the trial period or has a free subscription. Select the desired site in the list and click on Apply Subscription to confirm the action.

Important: an empty paid subscription slot cannot be applied to a site that already has a paid subscription. Cancel auto-renewal of your subscription, and when the site switches to a free subscription, you can apply the empty slot to it.
