Changing the language of the online store
In this guide, you will learn how to translate all terms in your online store into the language you need.

Term registry
Most of the terms used in the online store can be translated or edited in the Term registry, located in your site settings, in the Multilingual site section:

We recommend that you first translate all fields in the Your Store tab, and then proceed to the next section of the article to edit terms that are translated elsewhere.
Translating individual parts of an online store
Below, you can see the fields for translating different sections of an online store, as well as examples of some translated fields on the published website.
In this section, you will learn how to change the text in the following sections of your online store:
- Shopping cart
- Category page
- Product page
- Search results
- Store homepage
- “Store homepage” label
- Storefront
- Product filters
- Successful order page
Shopping cart
- To translate the main words and phrases in the Shopping cart, go to the Term registry and update the text in the Shopping cart section fields (part of the fields is shown in the screenshot):

On the published site, this setting changes the terms in the shopping cart, including the following:

- To translate the text in the checkout button, open the list of pages on your site, go to the Store tab, and click on Shopping Cart. In the window that opens, click on the button and click on the “gear” in the context menu:

In the Settings of the button, replace the text Order with “Buy,” or another text of your choice.
Category page
- Translations of the phrases used in the Category pages template can be made in the fields of the following section:

- To translate the text on the buttons, open the list of pages on your site, go to the Store tab, and click on Category Page. Click on the sample products and go to the Action tab, where you can update the text:

Product page
- Translation of terms used in the Product pages template can be done in the fields of the following section:

- To translate the text on the purchase button, open your site's page list, go to the Store tab, and click on Product Page. Click on the product details block to open its settings, then go to the Action tab:

Search results
You can translate all terms in this block in the corresponding section of the Term Register:

Store homepage
You can change the text on the online store's home page in these fields:

“Store homepage” label
To translate the Store homepage label used in breadcrumbs and displayed on the store's homepage, open your site settings and go to the category list.
Go to the settings for your site's main category, which is displayed first in the list by default. In its settings, you will need to update the name of this category:

Storefront
Storefront is a general name for blocks added to website pages to display products. For example, Storefront, Category list, or Product catalog with filters. In the Term Registry, you can change the following expressions:

To change the text in the buttons of such blocks, click on the products in it and go to the Action or Style tab, depending on which block is used:

Product filters
Click on the products in the filter block to open the product catalog settings. In the Filters tab, you can translate the main heading and the price and category headings:

Go to the Style tab to change the text of the purchase button in this block and translate the text of the control buttons, including reset filters and “Show more”:

While in this tab, be sure to go to the mobile editor to update the text of the filter application button on mobile devices:

Successful order page
- The text of the Payment details, Delivery details, and Order details elements can be changed in the Shopping cart fields in the Multilingual site tab of the site settings.
- To translate the Successful order page title and Customer details title, go to Settings — Multilingual site — Your store tab, and scroll down to the bottom of the page:
